By Ruzaik Farook Zahira College Colombo has organised World Arabic Language Day at the college and a prize giving ceremony will be held on 11 January at 9 a.m. at the M.T.A. Furkhan Hall, Zahira College. Senior Lecturer in Arabic, Department of Arabic and Islamic Civilisation University of Paradeniya Dr. Ameena Cassim will be the guest speaker and Inland Revenue Department Commissioner Ash Sheikh N.M.M. Mifly will be the guest speaker. It will be held under the patronage of Principal Trizvi Marikkar.
