Valentine’s Day party splash by the pool at Hilton Colombo

Hilton Colombo announced today that the hotel will host romantic events for Valentine’s Day. The biggest of it all is the Valentine’s Day Pool party where couples can dine under the stars and dance the night away to the sound of Crossroad (band) and DJ Naushad. Tables for two will be set up with a candle light dinner buffet inclusive of sparkling beverage. An extensive dinner buffet will be prepared by Executive Chef Daniel Leah and his kitchen brigade.
The poolside will create a romantic and breathtakingly beautiful ambiance this Valentine’s Day. Note, its corkage is free. The event will take place on 14 February from 7 p.m. to midnight in association with Sun FM and Freixenet.
A gastronomic lunch and dinner buffet spread will be available at Spices the hotel’s all day dining restaurant from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
How about keeping it simple and have High Tea for two at the Thorana Lounge? Delight that special someone by treating him or her to a platter of British or Sri Lankan savouries and sweets for two accompanied by a selection of flavoured teas by Dilmah; 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Apart from the above, Fine Things is prepared with a range of hand-made Valentine chocolates, cakes and gift items from 10 to 14 February from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Guests could select cakes from the hotel’s designer cake menu and get it personalised too.
