Three-time Grammy-winning Indian artist Pandit Tanmoy Bose enthralled local audiences as he performed with the world music group Taal Tantra at the Musaeus College Auditorium, recently.

Taal Tantra Tantric Rhythms brought to stage the talent of eleven professional musicians on tabla, the drums, the keyboard, the guitar and various other instruments to create spectacular cross-cultural rhythms of fusion music. The show which was held for the second consecutive year was presented by Standard Chartered together with hospitality partner Taj Samudra Hotel and the PR expertise of Ogilvy Public Relations.

Tabla virtuoso and three-time Grammy Award winner Pandit Tanmoy Bose arrived in Sri Lanka on 21 March, 2014, and the Taj Samudra team were there to receive him and his group with legendary Taj hospitality. The music group was warmly welcomed with orchid garlands and was met by the EAM of Taj Samudra, Colombo at the recently renovated stunning lobby. The group performed at the Musaeus College Auditorium on 22 March, 2014. Taj Samudra, Colombo was the hospitality partner for this prestigious event.
