By Inshira Shainaz The 31st night dinner dance gala ‘Twelve O’clock’ will be held at the Hilton Colombo, Grand Ballroom. The first ticket was purchased by Adam Investment Chairman Dr. Ali Asger Shabbir Gulamhusein and the official website for the event www.12oclocknye.com was launched on 26 November. The event is shaping up to be the most promising event that Colombo has seen in recent years and is expected to attract an elite crowd of party-goers seeking an exhilarating night full of merry-making with an exciting entertainment and world class dining. Highly-popular local band Doctor will be performing at the event. The band has been performing at various events both locally and internationally in the past, including in Paris, Sydney and Melbourne, which have experienced their groundbreaking and innovative style of music. As one of the most outstanding and in-demand DJs in Sri Lanka, Shiran Dias will also be present to keep toes tapping the entire night. Dias has played at venues across the island and will soon be venturing into the international area as well, with a mission of bringing people together via music.The event will be compeered by a multi-talented entertainer who thinks outside the box. Many other dance acts and attractions along with a Midnight Countdown Extravaganza will also be part of the night. The chefs are creating a surprise buffet comprising around 90 kinds of food and drink items.
