Pecha Kucha Night (PKN), now in over 700 cities, was devised in Tokyo in February 2003. Pecha Kucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works and thoughts in the Pecha Kucha 20x20 format – where they show 20 images, speaking for 20 seconds each. This non profit event hosted at the Saskia Fernando Gallery in Colombo will promote and support Sri Lanka’s vibrant creative industries. The 3rd Volume of Pecha Kucha Night Colombo will take place on 17 August at 6 p.m. at the gallery on 41 Horton Place in Colombo 7.
