Being one of the prominent financial institutions of the country, MFP launched this unique promotional campaign last month to signify the importance of the Vesak festival. The art competition saw the many talents of its participants receiving more than 5000 paintings from the MFP branch network scattered island-wide.
10 winners from each branch were selected and each of these young talents was rewarded with a free ‘Muthuhara’ account carrying a credit balance and some other valuable gifts. 2500 of selected contributors were presented with participation certificates for their great effort. Each branch organised an event which was led by their respective branch managers, to distribute savings accounts and gifts for these winners.
Multi Finance’s deposit department brought this idea forward with the intentions of spreading the rich cultural texture of Vesak and to improve the savings habit of children, which are the future of the nation. The art competition which was named after MFP’s innovative children’s savings account ‘Muthuhara’ provided a good platform to unveil young talent and the company is hoping to conduct many events of this nature for its stakeholders in the coming months.
Muthuhara is a children’s account which reaps many benefits to its young clientele and can be opened with an initial deposit as low as Rs. 500. In addition to the higher interest rate, the account holders are offered with a host of other benefits such as special insurance package, financial assistance on significant events of child’s growth and periodical educational guidance.
