Hindi blockbuster Barfi and Ini Avan on Hiru TV

Hindi blockbuster Barfi will be screened on Hiru TV on Saturday at 10 p.m. Barfi is a 2012 Indian romantic comedy-drama film. Film depicts the story of Murphy ‘Barfi’ Johnson (a mute and deaf man from Darjeeling) and his relationship with two women, Shruti and Jhilmil (who is autistic).

The cast includes Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and Ileana D’Cruz in the lead roles, with Saurabh Shukla, Ashish Vidyarthi. The movie is directed, written and co-produced by Anurag Basu. Hiru TV will also screen Sinhala movie Ini Avan on Friday at 10 a.m. Directed by Ashoka Handagama, the movie has Darshan Dharmaraj and Subashini Balasubramaniyam in lead roles.
