GLUE Studios has set a new benchmark in Malaysian 3D Animation with its latest series RIMBA RACER. Launched recently, RIMBA RACER is a 3D program animation series made up of 13 episodes in its debut season. The launch was initiated as an appreciation to all supporting parties behind its success namely MDEC, KPKK and FINAS and to commemorate RIMBA RACER’s official premier on 10 January.                     “We are extremely proud and excited with this project; it is a labor of love for many extremely talented locally groomed animators, talents and artists. It is a dream come true for many of us seeing how it evolved from a concept idea into a full season of animation in a class of its own “said Tariq Mohd Noh, the Managing Director of GLUE Studios and Executive Producer of RIMBA RACER. RIMBA RACER was initially made and voiced in English during its pilot episode and gained massive attention and positive feedback that later granted them the green light to produce a full series in both Bahasa Malaysia and English to cater to a wider audience.                 When asked to comment on RIMBA RACER Producer Ayman Jamaluddin said, “We are grateful for the many opportunities granted and faith entrusted in us. We believe Malaysian animators have so much potential and I dare to say that some are as good if not better than other world class animators” Scheduled to air 10 January, on one of Malaysia’s local channels, RIMBA RACER is set to awe the nation’s viewers with its marvelously conceptualised visual effects paired with a creatively written story line. Given the quality and growing pace of this animation, RIMBA RACER shows no sign of slowing down and will definitely be leading the race in 3D animation championing through the Malaysian and International market.
