Chennai Express on Hiru TV on 31st night

Hiru TV will telecast Hindi blockbuster movie Chennai Express on 31st night at 10.00 p.m. as part of its premier entertainment offering to its viewers.

Chennai Express is a 2013 Indian romantic action-comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Gauri Khan under the film production company Red Chillies Entertainment. The film features Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Rahul (Shahrukh) embarks on a journey to a small town in Tamil Nadu to fulfil the last wish of his grandfather: to have his ashes immersed in the Holy water of Rameshwaram. En route, he meets a woman Meenalochini (Deepika) hailing from a unique family down South. As they find love through this journey in the exuberant lands of South India, an unanticipated drive awaits them.

Hiru TV will also show Sinhala movie ‘Peter One’ on 1st January at 12 noon. This film stars famous comedian Bandu Samarasinghe.
