Huawei launches ‘Sing with the Stars’ Competition

Huawei, the country’s fastest moving smartphone brand has launched the ‘Sing with the Stars’ competition on social media, encouraging fans to upload video clips lasting 30 seconds or more performing a cover of the duo Bathiya and Santhush (BNS). 

The duo singing sensation are the digital brand ambassadors for Huawei Sri Lanka and will be providing Huawei fans with an opportunity to be selected to perform alongside them during one of their mega performances on stage.

Participants have been encouraged to post their singing covers on the wall or inbox it to Huawei Mobile Sri Lanka’s page on Facebook. The competition has been scheduled to continue for 02 months giving fans ample time to prepare, record their covers and submit their entries. The competition winners will be determined depending on their level of popularity. The winning entry will get an opportunity to sing with BNS, two of the most innovative music personalities of this generation.

Huawei is aggressively expecting considerable growth in 2016 as it has achieved outmatched milestones in the previous year as well. Huawei has gained a market share of 24.4% according to GFK Q3 2016 in Sri Lanka further accelerating its market as the number two smartphone brand in the country. Huawei is ranked 47th among the World’s Top 100 Most Valuable Brands in 2016 According to Brand Finance.
