The Galle Face Hotel has announced its appointment as hospitality partner for the annual French Spring Festival that will take place from 3rd June to 14th July. Organised by the Embassy of France and the network of the Alliance Française, the festival features a series of multidisciplinary events celebrating arts and culture from both France and Sri Lanka.
The Galle Face Hotel will play host to two events taking place during the festival, the prestigious Bastille Day 2016 celebration of France’s independence, as well as a high powered meeting between experts from France and Sri Lanka who will exchange viewpoints on natural heritage, preservation and the development of eco-tourism.
Said Galle Face Hotel General Manager Antony Paton, “In addition to hosting the French Spring Festival, the French Culinary Week will take place at The Verandah restaurant from the 15th of July for ten days. During this period we will be offering cookery classes and a French gourmet dinner on the 21st of July which we’re very excited for.”
