Sri Lanka’s lifestyle station E FM has reached the midpoint of its highly successful, first-of-its-kind, “ABCD’s of E” promotional campaign, which has taken local radio promotions by storm! Providing each weekday with its own letter of the alphabet and teaming a full day of activities around that day’s letter, this on-air revolution continues on E FM until the end of the month of June.
Having kicked off on 1 June and currently running every weekday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., the addictive “ABCD’s of E” campaign gives loyal E FM listeners the opportunity to listen to a smorgasbord of songs with titles beginning with the assigned letter for the day and, additionally, offers chances to win prizes also related to the letter of the day.
For example, on the day assigned with the letter “E”, E FM itself stepped up and gifted Rs. 5,000 in cash to a lucky winner every half hour, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., enabling 13-hour thrill-fest, and fanning unprecedented listener excitement and participation.
Further, the “ABCD’s of E” campaign also slipped in a special Easter egg for E FM’s Club E loyalty card holders, having provided them with visual clues related to each and every letter so those who know their music can earn an additional 50 Club E bonus points daily, which can quickly add up to some seriously sensational Club E merchandise as rewards.
