Musing the artistry of existence
Painting the world in a new light through his camera lens, avid traveller and photographer MB Imran brings his vision to the table in his forthcoming showcase ‘Confessions of a Traveller’. Covering over a hundred destinations in over 20 countries, the exhibition is a tribute to Imran’s skill as a photographer.
He insists that most of his images are his first mental clicks of what meets his eye; aspiring to nurture creativity in its sphere, Imran’s exhibition is a truly intimate expression of the deepest impressions of his heart. His images will walk you through the sands of time, from the Moghuls to the Ruling of the Khmer, from big metropolis like New York to Melbourne and canals in Venice to Amsterdam, resting upon a light in each destination.
Each image tells us a story, feeding our imaginations, satisfying our senses and whispering untold secrets of historical significance… the collection breathes simplicity, yet there is an intricacy to it which is almost spiritual in existence. The diversity of the world thus enriched through the diversity of perception, presenting the photographic pearls of Imran’s confessions. The exhibition is on at The Barefoot Gallery from 21 July till 7 August.
