Popular singing sensation representing the new generation Sanka Dineth will present ‘Sanka Dineth Live in Concert with 28 Voices’ musical show at the Maharagama National Youth Service Council Auditorium on 16 January at 6:30 p.m. The main sponsor of the event is Sri Lanka’s oldest trade brand for beauty Ayurvedic products, Chandanalepa.
The unique feature of the show organised with the view of giving the audience a novel experience will be the introduction of 28 new vocalists to the musical spectrum of Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, well trained by Sanka Dineth, who has gained recognition now not only as a popular vocalist, but also as a top music director of the country, a CD of 28 new vocalists will be launched under the label Sanka Dineth Live in Concert with 28 Voices. This CD will be given free of charge to participants at the musical show.
Expressing his views musician Sanka Dineth said, “This musical show is held to fulfil a pledge given by me to my fans that on my 28th birthday. I will introduce 28 new voices to the music industry of this country. I believe this opportunity will help these new vocalists in making inroads and reaching great heights in the music field of our country. The CD which will be unveiled at the music show consists of 28 songs produced with the contribution of renowned lyricists and music composition done by me. Spectators will get the opportunity to enjoy not only songs sung by me but songs articulated by other artistes which have been created with my music composition. I am very happy that Chandanalepa, an Ayurvedic beatification brand that I prefer a lot has come forward to make this show a success.”
