Avengers fans assemble for E FM ‘Captain America: Civil War’ premiere

True Avengers fans were out in full force for the spectacular premiere of ‘Captain America: Civil War’, hosted by Sri Lanka’s Lifestyle station E FM at the iconic Savoy 3D cinema. Featuring not one but two teams of Marvel’s famed Avengers superheroes, this was truly a movie for the ages, as well as being universally positively reviewed by film critics.

Dressing up to support their favourite Marvel superheroes, of which over a dozen were featured in the movie, Sri Lankan fans attended the E FM premiere in full force, numbering in the hundreds. To date, this Hollywood blockbuster has already taken in over $ 400 million in global box office earnings.

E FM premiere attendees also had access to a number of free-of-charge giveaways, including limited edition ‘Captain America: Civil War’ badges printed exclusively for the premiere, so they could show their support for either ‘Team Captain America’ or ‘Team Iron Man’. Additionally, the premiere featured a special promotion from Big Boys Toys where action figures were gifted to a few lucky invitees, and topping it all off was a ‘Best Dressed Man and Woman’ competition where the winners received a Rs. 20,000 cash prize.

Sponsored by Singapore Airlines and Dilly & Carlo, ‘Captain America: Civil War’ is just the latest in E FM’s long running premiere series, which will continue to feature highly anticipated movies opening over the coming weeks, including big budget Summer 2016 blockbusters.
