Workshops and performance by Santiniketan Friends

Indian Cultural Centre, Colombo will be organising workshops and performances by Santiniketan Friends on 29, 30 and 31 August at Indian Cultural Centre auditorium located at 16/2, Gregory’s Road, and Colombo 07.  

Santiniketan friends is a collective vision of ex-students of Santiniketan, Viswa Bharati passionate about displaying the rich art and culture of Santiniketan to Sri Lankan audience    

The schedule is as follows:

Drama workshop on 29 August from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (age group – open) conducted by Thilini Munasinghe, holder of  Master of Arts in Drama, Vishva Bharati University, Santiniketan. 

Art and Music Workshop on 30 August from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (age group 10 years+) conducted by Anusha Wijesinghe, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) University of Vishva Bharati, Santiniketan lndia  and Thilini Rodrigo Masters in Music at University of Vishava Bharati, Santiniiketan

Performance on 31 August from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. by Chandana Wickramasinghe, graduate from Vishva Bharati, Santiniketan, renowned dancer and choreographer, Director of Dancer’s Guild and his students.

All are cordially invited. Entry is free and seating is on first cum first serve basis.
