Red Bull gives wings to local talent

• New comers debut alongside music giants, BnS, Lahiru and Rakitha

Red Bull Sri Lanka has set the stage for the best music experience of the year with the amazing duo Bathiya and Santhush, the ever popular Lahiru Perera and the founder of the famed percussion ensemble Naadro, Rakitha Ruwan Wickramaratne. 

BNS, Lahiru and Rakitha are thrilled to be a part of this show as it is conceptualised with a view to introducing four young musicians representing three genres, namely pop, baila and folk fusion, who will perform alongside these Sri Lankan music giants on the same stage.

On 14 December Red Bull will introduce Yohani and Suhail from the pop category, Munura from the baila category and Shashika from the folk fusion category, all four of whom who will perform together with the ever popular BnS, Lahiru and Rakitha on the same stage at a gala musical show that will be held at Stein Studios Rathmalana.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young, aspiring musicians to make their debut alongside industry giants, and Red Bull is proud to be their launching pad. This is just the beginning of a whole new music culture as Red Bull is planning to stage this show annually, giving wings to young talent island wide. 

Red Bull has a huge music presence globally and these artists will get their chance to access the knowledge and expertise of global music giants through this unique experience.
