Evening of Qawwali, Naths and Muslim music today

The Muslim Choral Ensemble better known to their audience as Aswatuna together with Shahid Shabaz a member of their South Asian Ensemble will present an evening of songs from the Muslim world to be held on Wednesday 4 April at the Empire Ballroom, Mount Lavinia Hotel from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. 

The performance will comprise a collection of Muslim songs with a promise to an enthralling evening of Sufi music, a genre that is most significant to the mystical fraternities, for whom music and song, next to prayer, are means toward a connection between God and man.
