Atlas Axillia, Sri Lanka’s largest producer of high-quality stationery and back-to-school products, will have a flagship activity stall at the Colombo International Book Fair, currently being held at the BMICH from 20-29 September.

This year the Colombo International Book Fair coincides with Atlas Axillia’s 60th anniversary, which falls on 29 September. To mark this milestone, the company has planned numerous fun activities and entertainment at its stall.

Atlas’s flagship activity stall at the Colombo International Book Fair 2019 is called ‘Atlas Future Land’ and is set up under the theme ‘Shaping future leaders of tomorrow’. The activity stall is designed to provide visitors with a futuristic experience that includes Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) games along with Sri Lanka’s first ‘Motion Drawing Wall’, which allows children to draw and colour a digital wall simply using the motion of their hands. Various other games, activities and plenty of giveaways are also planned. DJs from Neth FM’s popular children’s programs ‘Punchi Udeshana’ and ‘Kalabala Pancha’ will also make appearances at ‘Atlas Future Land’. They will entertain the crowds with performances and competitions with a unique twist.  Speaking about Atlas Future World, Atlas Axillia Ltd. Marketing Director Shaan Wickremesinghe said: “The Colombo International Book Fair is an annual event for kids and adults alike. Each year, we design and curate our stalls to help make learning fun and inspire children to chase their dreams. This year is particularly special because the book fair coincides with our 60th year anniversary and we plan to provide an unforgettable experience to our visitors, especially children. As we mark 60 years, we are ready for the future and committed to continuing to shape Sri Lanka’s future leaders by providing world-class tools for learning that are accessible to all. We are using Atlas Future World as a platform to demonstrate this to our customers.”

In addition to all the fun activities and prizes, to celebrate Atlas’s 60th anniversary this September, children whose parents have birthdays in September will be entitled to special discounts at the Atlas Future Land stall and will be further eligible to enter a special draw to win amazing prizes.
