M&S Enterprises was established in 2011, with the primary focus to provide households with ideal solar power solutions to reduce their owners’ energy bills. It has now successfully completed three large scale commercial solar projects in Sri Lanka.

The recent 100 kW Solar PV project for Brandix Ltd. at the Free Trade Zone in Koggala was completed in 24 days. The system consists of 377 Renesola 265W polycrystalline solar panels and four German SMA 25 kW inverters. The system is capable of generating approximately 144 MWh per year. It is equipped with its own dedicated monitoring system (plant and weather).

The two projects prior to this were completed for Associated Electrical Cooperation. The first, at Vauxhall Street, involved the installation of a 75 kW plant, consisting of 928 80W ASP-S2 (thin film) panels and four Growatt inverters. It is capable of generating approximately 9300 KWh per month.

The second, at Kettarama was a 120 kW solar plant, comprising of 462 Renesola Monocrystalline solar panels and seven Growatt inverters. This system produces approximately 16,200 kWh per month.

Recently M&S Enterprises has dedicated its resources to concentrate on large-scale commercial solar turnkey projects. The company has built professional relationships with leading suppliers and organisations around the world and is equipped to design, procure and construct Megawatt (MW) scale PV plants to future clients in 2016.

M&S Enterprises has also expanded its services into Building Management Systems (BMS) and is currently in the process of completing its first commercial project for Associated Electrical Corporation. The project gives the client complete monitoring and partial control of the building’s electrical and mechanical appliances using TREND (Honeywell) controls and software.
