The Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL) in 2021 has embarked on policy discourse to trigger urgent digital policy formation with the objective of influencing fast adaptation of cutting edge digital technologies in order for the country to achieve competitive advantage in the post pandemic era. Rapid technology diffusion and early adapting of frontier technologies such as AI, iOT, big data, cloud computing, drones, block chain, etc. is imperative for the country to leverage Industry 4.0 to become a prosperous nation.
CSSL’s inaugural Digital Policy Dialogue on Education Road Map for Digital Sri Lanka Vision webinar with several key industry opinion leaders is scheduled today (23 March).
National Institute of Education (NIE) Director General Dr. Sunil Jayantha Navarathna, Vocational Training Authority Chairman Damitha Wickramasinghe, Gateway Group Chairman Dr. Harsha Alles, CodeGen International Founder and CEO Dr. Harsha Subasinghe and Yasas Abeywickrama of Facebook Sri Lanka will be joining the panel discussion, which will be moderated by Huawei Technologies Vice President and Computer Society of Sri Lanka Publication Secretary Indika De Zoyza.
