Domino’s Pizza celebrates arrival of the Pizza Theatre experience in Colombo

Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. (JFL), master franchisee of Domino’s Pizza, announced yet another landmark initiative by giving the people of Colombo the maiden Pizza Theatre store concept. 

The newly-launched Domino’s Pizza Theatre – a global concept being introduced in Sri Lanka – will give pizza lovers in Colombo a whole new ambience in which to savour their most loved pizzas, adding to their overall food experience. The new, international concept also strengthens the dine-in choices that Domino’s Pizza offers to the consumers in Sri Lanka.

The Pizza Theatre concept features an open kitchen that brings theatrics and skill of pizza-making in front of guests and a richer and warmer guest dine-in area. By bringing the Pizza Theatre concept restaurant to Sri Lanka, Domino’s Pizza has fortified its promise to deliver the best consumer experience even for the dine-in guests, in addition to the strong home delivery expertise of the brand. 

The concept, which has already been adopted in Domino’s restaurants across many international markets, has been designed to enhance the consumer engagement and experience by having a one of its kind open Pizza Kitchen and restaurant layout in the QSR category. It has been very well received across all the markets and Domino’s anticipates a positive uptake by the consumers in Colombo too.

The newly-launched Pizza Theatre restaurant marks the launch of the 17th Domino’s Pizza restaurant in Sri Lanka. The newest restaurant at No.56, Maya Avenue, Havelock Town, Colombo 6 was launched amidst great fanfare as the neighbourhood was buzzing to the music of an electrifying DJ and the Live Papare Band. Consumers also got some added fun along with their pizza experience on the opening day with activities such as face painting and magic balloons.
