Everyone looks forward to this season to indulge in some delicious treats, and over the years, the Italians have developed their own special cuisine for the biggest holiday of the year. The Bayleaf brings the traditional food fare to your table during this season.
With the switching on of the Christmas lights on 1 December, the season got off to a grand start.
The annual charity project – ‘Share with a Child’ will be held on 15 December to share the joy of the season with the lesser privileged kids of the Community Concern Centre. All are welcome to contribute.
The festive outdoor catering menus are on offer for home entertainment and are easily accessible on the website, www.bayleafcolombo.com.
It’s the time of the year that all wish to enjoy a good roast turkey at home with friends and family and The Bayleaf offers a selection of festive goodies from roasted whole Turkey with Grandma stuffing, herb crusted roast leg of lamb, honey marinated roast pork and more, cooked to customers’ preferences by the restaurant’s team of chefs.
Of course what is Christmas without Christmas cake? One can order Christmas cake, stollen and Breudher too along with Christmas pudding and Yule logs. The restaurant requires 24 hours advance notice for orders.
Set in the upper level of a colonial mansion, The Bayleaf offers a choice of venues for private dining in air conditioned comfort. The Gold Room, Blue Room and the Red Room each create a unique ambiance for elegant dining. The latest and newest addition is the Silver Room, set to accommodate eight people with a high-end wine selection and a special antipasti menu, for special celebrations.
