Crusty Pie promotion is back at the Echelon Pub

One of the popular promotions at the Echelon Pub is the ‘Pie Promotion’. Freshly baked pies with different fillings and crusty pastry on top could be eaten as a meal or even a snack for those with a big appetite. Pie lovers can enjoy this Pie Promotion from 15 to 31 January from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. ‘Beef & Guinness Pie’ which is slow cooked fillet of beef with Guinness stout served with grilled potatoes and buttered vegetables, ‘Lancashire Hot Pot’ – Braised lamb and vegetables cooked in red wine sauce, topped with sautéed potato and buttered broccoli, Spicy seafood cooked in spicy sauce with leek mash, Steak and Kidney pie are just a sneak peak of the extensive menu. There will be sweet pies such as Apple pie with vanilla ice cream, Peach calputti with Carmelite ice cream and blueberry crumble with chocolate ice cream. Echelon Pus is a favourite ‘hang out’ place for the young and the young at heart. One of the few colonial style pubs in Colombo offers a variety of ‘Pub Grub’ and beverages throughout the week. There is also a happy hour on drinks from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. and again from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
