BAKED, the patisserie at Ramada Colombo introduces the new cake menu with some awesome treats. Whilst the all-time favourites of classic blueberry cheesecake or ribbon cake still feature, it’s the fresh, adventurous flavours that steal the show!
Guests are sure to be spoilt for choice with this new menu … the Tipsy Whiskey is an exquisite cake that comes with Irish butter cream layered into rich chocolate sponge and finished off with frosted whiskey cream cheese. The Tosca Torte, a Swedish classic is baked to perfection and topped with sticky-sweet almond Florentine whilst the Salted Butterscotch cake has tempting layers of cream and caramelised nuts.
Chocoholics do not fear! The Milky Choco Mud Cake is excessively delicious and is the ultimate treat for the chocolate lover. The hotel’s also gone step further with a decadent Vegan Chocolate Cake too. If fruity flavours are your thing, then the crispy strawberry meringue with a bed of fresh strawberries, layered with sweet cream or the Chocolate Chip with Tangy Passion Curd, a delicious twist on the usual, are sure delights. The new cake menu also includes the Apple Pie Layer Cake with layers of cheese cake and a dash of aromatic cinnamon that gently crumbles in the mouth with soft-crunchy apple pieces.
The new-age classics feature too … the delectable Red Velvet is a fabulous show-stopper with its sensational red colour whilst the Cinnamon Carrot with delicious cream cheese is mildly spiced with a dash of cinnamon for a lingering flavour.
