Easter is the completion of the Passion of Christ, preceded by Lent, includes a 40-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance for Christians all over the world. It heralds a new beginning for Christians instilling hope and rebirth in the hearts of many. 

An amazing array of the finest gourmet dishes, meticulously prepared by our Exec Chef Manjula Wickrama and his Kitchen Brigade will be on offer during the Easter Brunch at the Ports of Call of Taj Samudra, Colombo from 12 noon to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, 1 April.

The splendid array of dishes cater to each person’s unique taste as the tantalising spread includes Easter Punch like avocado smoothies, a Fresh green salad bar, signature Charcuterie counter, chilled seafood fountain with oysters, jumbo prawns, mussels, steamed crab and salmon, coloured Easter eggs, a kiddie’s corner, Carvery stations, Asian Combination counters and desserts. Each individual is special, and their unique palettes are catered to at the Easter Brunch at the Ports of Call by their impressive mains which includes Roast leg of lamb, steak and mushroom pie, roll roasted chicken legs, Moda, Paella and many more. 

Easter appetiser table will offer seared tuna with avocado, lentil salad with ham, crab and shrimp cocktails and dressings, while the Japanese corner will offer sashimi, maki and nigiri. With over 25 varieties, the desserts are simply divine! The tempting delicacies are specially prepared for those who crave sweet things. A special assortment Easter Goodies, chocolates and pralines are available for the chocolate lovers.

The children will be able to specially enjoy Easter Egg Hunting along with the Easter Bunny and many more games during the Easter Brunch at the Ports of Call. Easter Brunch is priced at Rs. 3,500 nett per person and Rs. 2,500 nett per child.
