Why endure a second loss making airline?

  • Is the main airline too big and/or growth restrained, that it warrants a second airline?
  • Are there domestic airports that a second airline can better serve, in terms of costs and access new market segments?Untitled-13411
  • Are there international airports that a second airline can better serve, in terms of costs and access new market segments?
  • Does the Government have a surplus budget that it can ‘afford’ loss-making State enterprises?! Should taxpayers fund a loss-making airline?

If the answer to all of above is a ‘no’, why fly?
