A new concept in animal welfare, the Rainbow Pets Clinic, will open its doors tomorrow (1 September) at 10 a.m. The Animal Protection Trust (APT), formerly known as the Sri Lankan Animal Protection Association (SLAPA), is funding this animal clinic and surgery of their own.
Conveniently located at No. 1A, Sarasavi Gardens, Nawala Road, Nugegoda, the goal is to provide skilled, caring, treatment to all animals at affordable prices. APT will subsidise genuine cases, when street animals referred by known animal welfare workers are brought for treatment.
