People’s Merchant Bank conducts pirith ceremony for President

To coincide with the President’s second term swearing-in ceremony, an all night pirith ceremony was held on 19 November 2010 at People’s Merchant Bank, Head Office, amidst the participation of

W. Karunajeewa – Chairman, People’s Bank, Ajith Panditharatne – Chairman, People’s Merchant Bank, Anura Wickremasinghe – Managing Director/CEO of People’s Merchant Bank, Anura Siriwardena – Secretary to the Ministry of Trade and other distinguished guests and the staff of People’s Merchant Bank to invoke blessings on the President. The pirith was conducted by Gangarama Temple under the auspices of Ven. Galaboda Gnanissara Thero.
