As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) work, NOLIMIT has successfully refurbished ward No.13 at the Cancer Hospital in Maharagama which was ceremoniously re-opened in the presence of A. Amjad Hassan, General Manager, NOLIMIT; M.H.M. Jawfar, Operations Manager, NOLIMIT; A.L.M. Akeel, Marketing Manager, NOLIMIT; Dr. Kanishka Karunarathna, Director, Cancer Hospital, Maharagama; Dr. Yasantha Ariyarathna, Consultant Clinical Oncologist, Cancer Hospital, Maharagama and Dr. Kanthi Perera, Consultant Clinical Oncologist, Cancer Hospital, Maharagama.
NOLIMIT through generous donations carried out the much-needed refurbishment of ward No. 13, with an assurance from NOLIMIT to look after the requirements, interests and needs of the ward.
The newly refurbished ward includes new furnishings, décor and two plasma televisions making the ward brighter with a modern environment.
A.L.M Akeel, Manager – Marketing, NOLIMIT had this to say: “It is important to do whatever we can to support such causes as this. By maintaining, and ensuring that this ward at the Cancer Hospital is running effectively and efficiently without any problems. That is what we at NO LIMIT began and will continue to do.”
NOLIMIT’s CSR also extends to other hospitals such as the Lady Ridgeway Hospital, while work is already underway at the Teaching Hospital Colombo South, Kalubowila and the Negombo General Hospital.
