KPMG Sri Lanka donates medical equipment to North Colombo Teaching Hospital in Ragama

KPMG in Sri Lanka recently made a donation of medical equipment, bedding and appliances for the benefit of the North Colombo Teaching Hospital in Ragama. The equipment was provided as a contribution aimed at improving the hospital’s health care facilities to needy patients who rely on the services of the hospital. Managing Partner of KPMG in Sri Lanka Reyaz Mihular presented the equipment to Deputy Director of the North Colombo Teaching Hospital Dr. Champa Aluthweera. Yohan Perera, Partner – People, Performance & Culture of KPMG in Sri Lanka, Dr. Yasas Abeywickrama and several representatives from both establishments were present at the time. The project was initiated by a team of staff members under the guidance of Suresh Perera, Principal – Tax & Regulatory of the Firm. KPMG firms work closely with communities and varied organizations on a range of citizenship initiatives in areas such as healthcare, education, community development, environmental protection and disaster relief.
