Janashakthi gifts insurance covers to Sirasa Super Star finalists

Leading insurer Janashakthi, as the insurance partner of Sirasa Super Star Season Five, gifted a Rs. 25 million personal accidental death cover to the winner Dasun Madushan. In addition, the 11 finalists were given insurance covers worth Rs. 10 million each.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Janashakthi General Manager Sales and Marketing Shehara De Silva said: “We believe in empowering Sri Lanka’s youth. In extending our support to up-and-coming musicians, we are adding value to our endeavour to support young talent to reach for the stars. Janasahakthi is always at the forefront of supporting youth, culture and the arts.”
Janashakthi Deputy Chairman Chandra Schaffter handed over the Insurance covers to Dasun Madushan and his fellow finalists at the spectacular finale ‘The Voice’. Presenting the insurance covers at the ceremony, Schaffter said: “It is truly an honour for Janashakthi Insurance to be involved in a venture which gives talented upcoming singers in the country a platform to succeed in their careers and an opportunity to make a change in their lives.” He added, “I also congratulate Dasun Madushan and wish him a successful career.”
The eleven finalists were, Rasintha Gayan, Dulaj Ashen, Dinesha Weerakoon, Pavithra Kasun, Nirosh Chanaka, Champika Dilash, Virajini Vishwalanka, Sugath Hewage, Sameera Ekanayak, Nazia Naeem and Arosha Narmada.
