Hutch Sri Lanka, one of the leading providers of broadband 3G services in the country came forth as the ‘Official Internet Provider’ for the TNL Onstage Season 15, in an effort to support local music talent. ‘TNL Onstage’ is a platform in which amateur artists showcase their talents, including categories such as solo artists and bands. 

Hutch Sri Lanka has been in the forefront of supporting a gamut of events to enable the youth of Sri Lanka achieve their fullest potential.

TNL Onstage is an annual music talent competition, organised by TNL Radio Network. The musicians and artists selected to take part in this much awaited event, from all musical genres, also undergo workshops and training sessions with established musicians, enabling the rookies to face the next levels in the competition.

Hutch Chief Executive Officer Thirukumar Nadarasa said, “Hutch is pleased to support TNL Radio to identify and promote new musical talent in Sri Lanka. This aligns with Hutch’s mission to make available the widest range of affordable broadband data products to enable the youth of Sri Lanka to access the internet for self development.” 

Sharing his thoughts about the partnership TNL Radio Networks Ltd. Manager – Sales and Marketing Jude Benedict said, “We are positive about the active commitment of Hutch Sri Lanka, who have partnered with us for this year’s special edition of TNL Onstage, as we set out to discover the next big artist in Sri Lanka.”

The winners are awarded cash prizes and the TNL Onstage stamp of approval that will fuel their ambition of becoming the next big star in the local musical scene. This year’s competition is held at Waters Edge Battaramulla over a period of two months ending with a grand finale in September.
