HNB commemorates World Children’s Day at Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital

HNB commemorated World Children’s Day at the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital on 1 October 2010 by gifting babies born on 1 October a ‘Singithi Kirikatiyo’ account with a Rs. 1,000 deposit from the bank.

The event was held at the Maternity Ward of the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital in the presence of Dr. S.M.G. Karunaratne, Chief Obstetrician and Gynecologist of Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital and Deputy General Manager – Marketing & Retail Banking HNB Chandula Abeywickrema.

As a tribute to children, HNB has dedicated the month of October with a host of special benefits for newborns and young children. During the month of October the bank will offer children of up to five years with a gold pendant when a deposit of Rs. 100,000 is made to the ‘Singithi’ account. 

In addition to this all babies born on 1 October 2010 will be gifted with a ‘Singithi Kirikatiyo’ account with a deposit of Rs. 1,000.
