A computer training centre sponsored by the HDFC Bank as a part of its CSR programme island wide was opened recently, in the Visuddharama Temple at Dematagoda in Colombo.
This is the first training centre established by the bank to develop the computer literacy of the youth in the area enabling them to thorough their knowledge on computer skills. The computer centre will be administrated by the HDFC bank and training will be given to the students free of charge. Ven. Welimada Shantha Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Dematagoda Maha Visuddharama Temple, Suresh Amerasekera – the CEO/GM of HDFC bank, A.J. Athukorala – Chief Internal Auditor, Darsha Abeywardena – Head of Treasury, Himali Gunathilake – Manager Business Development and Marketing, Samangi Ariyarathne – Manager (Business Development), a number of officers, parents and students also participated at the opening ceremony of this computer centre. The CEO of HDFC Bank opens the computer training centre at the Visuddharama Temple at Dematagoda.
