Glitz launches new magazine and innovative CSR project to mark the festive season

Glitz, the fashion destination recently launched its magazine which will feature a range of delightful fashion products for the convenience of shoppers. The periodical magazine will also provide shoppers an idea of the latest global seasonal trends which they can find at Glitz. Glitz is gearing up for the festive season ahead and has recently completed a major facelift to its Mount Lavinia showroom. The enhanced showroom offers a streamlined shopping experience for shoppers. A spacious floor for ladies clothing is complimented with expanded lingerie, nightwear and sportswear sections while the children’s floor area has been arranged according to age, making shopping for kids a hassle free experience. The most striking outcome of this facelift is the attractive visual merchandising which is sure to catch your attention. Apart from showcasing chic clothing and accessories, Glitz places the convenience and comfort of shoppers as its highest priority and in keeping with this commitment, the store extends generous discounts on a wide range of credit cards, Glitz operates as a responsible citizen and drives this commitment through innovative corporate social responsibility projects. In keeping with the season of giving and joy, Glitz has partnered with Dialog Axiata and the SOS Childrens’ Village for a charitable cause. Shoppers can donate only through their Dialog mobiles and receive a confirmation by SMS and a subsequent discount of 5% for donations of Rs. 50, 7.5% for Rs. 250 and 10% for Rs. 500. Donors will have to type SOS<space>Donation amount and send to 77117. They will then have to show the confirmation text to the cashier when paying their bill. This special project will run until 31 December at all Glitz outlets. Asthetically designed wings have been placed at each Glitz outlet and customers are invited to pose for a photograph and fly with fashion. Further they can upload the photo to the Glitz Facebook page and win G T-shirts.
