Pursuing its mission of providing a better life for the street dogs of Sri Lanka, Embark recently initiated a sterilisation and vaccination program in the Kosgoda area of the Galle District.
The campaign has to date vaccinated over 1,000 dogs, sterilised 150, and treated 400 for communicable diseases. The project is conducted in collaboration with the Public Health Inspector Balapitiya and Embark’s veterinary partner, Best Care Animal Hospital. Embark follows the internationally accepted CNVR (Catch, Neuter, Vaccinate and Release) methodology in all such projects conducted in different parts of the country.
