Once again, popular local brand Elephant House has lent a hand to a worthy cause for the betterment of the Sri Lankan community. Elephant House was the co-sponsor of the Punarjeewa Heart Walk, which aided needy patients in getting life-saving heart related surgeries. Elephant House’s continued efforts with this CSR program are related to caring for the Sri Lankan heart, apart from being the Sri Lankan ice cream favourite.
Continuing to lead in the local ice cream market, Elephant House’s Ice Cream product portfolio emphasises consumer-orientated, and progressive, marketing strategies, which have not only sustained growth, but also improved its leadership amongst many ‘me too’ brands in the category. At the same time, its latest creation, the Elephant House Jelly Ice Cream, was also sampled by participants at the Punarjeewa Heart Walk, including Deputy Minister for Ports and Highways Rohitha Abeygunawardane and Deshamanya Soma Edirisinghe.
Expressing his views, Elephant House’s Head Of Frozen Confectionary Neil Samarasinghe said; “We are happy to be on board with this great cause, and we are extending our support for this worthwhile endeavour for years to come.”
