Dettol, a power brand from the portfolio of Reckitt Benckiser and a global leader in the health and hygiene category co-sponsored a three day medical exhibition, organised by the National Institute of Health Sciences, Kalutara.
During this program, Dettol used interactive means to educate consumers on facts about protection against germs, providing valuable information on personal hygiene. The three day event grabbed a huge number of spectators including parents, teachers and children who viewed the demonstrations on proper hand washing techniques while participating in special games throughout the day.
The main activity at the event was based on educating children on how to wash their hands, as hand washing is the initial measure of personal hygiene. The Public Health Instructors (PHIs) were actively engaged in the process of demonstrating the eight steps of hand washing, while educating the participants on the importance of it at different occasions. Another stall at the event hosted interactive games for children.
