AmCham thanks sponsors of Ambassador’s Ball; presents donation to Blue Paw Trust

An event to thank the Sponsors of the 14th Ambassador’s Ball and to present the charity donation to Blue paw trust was held on July 12, 2012 at the Blue Elephant, Hilton Colombo.

As tradition entails of the Ambassador’s Ball, it is customary to donate part –proceeds of the Ball to an identified charity that is very dear to H.E the Ambassador. This year the donation was made to Blue Paw Trust an organization that is working to promote animal welfare in Sri Lanka by providing free veterinary services to a significant number of community dogs. This donation was made by the U.S Ambassador H.E Patricia A Butenis to Dr. Dynatra Subasinghe, Co-coordinator for rabies awareness and education and Co-coordinator for Dog Managed Zones, Blue Paw Trust.  

It is no doubt that the success of an event depends on its sponsors. The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) thanked all its sponsors for joining hands with them in organizing the 14th Ambassador’s Ball which was held 3rd of June 2012 at the Grand Ballroom, Hilton Colombo.
