Amal commemorates Commonwealth Day 2017

Amal International School, Colombo 6 commemorated Commonwealth Day 2017 which fell on 13 March with an intra-school poster competition. The poster competition was held for students of the school on this year’s theme for Commonwealth Day – ‘A peace-building Commonwealth’. Amalians made very creative and colourful posters focusing on a multitude of Commonwealth countries. 

The project was the brain-child of Librarian D.C.P. Hettiarachchi and executed with the assistance of Fareeda Alimohamed under the leadership of Principal M.M. Shazuli.
