Spring & Summer Co-Founder Shyamalie Wijegunawardena noted, “At present Sri Lanka is going through one of its worst trials. However, whilst we are confident that we as a nation will continue to persevere, as we have done so in the past to emerge victorious and united, we still understand and deeply feel the suffering of Sri Lanka’s communities. It is with this understanding that we partnered with Greater Giving Sri Lanka to donate rations to 170 households that were in dire need of daily goods. We will continue to push for equality and to alleviate poverty for those around the nation as we have always done so, working with organisations that share in our brand ethos and community beliefs.”

Greater Giving Sri Lanka Co-Founder Ishanki Gunasekera stated: “Greater Giving is a non-profit initiative fused on supporting low-income communities all across Sri Lanka to alleviate poverty, achieve social justice, and save lives. We believe each and every human being should have the right to a life of dignity and security. This means a life free from poverty, violence, discrimination, and human right violations. The organisation was founded to bring individuals together that share a passion for giving back and uplifting the less fortunate communities in Sri Lanka. We are pleased to have partnered with Spring & Summer for our latest outreach program and look forward to a long-term partnership on the long road ahead to helping our fellow Sri Lankans.”
