Rhino Roofing Products Ltd. took the initiative to provide urgent supplies including dry rations to those impacted by the COVID-19 viral pandemic in Suduwella, Ja-Ela area which is in closer proximity to its manufacturing plant.
In order to obey and maintain social distancing rules implemented by healthcare authorities, these supplies were handed over to Parish Priest Rev. Linton Joseph of Ave Maria Church in Ja-Ela on behalf of approximately 270 needy families in the area.
As a widely respected socially responsible organisation and as part of its Sustainability journey, it considers this as its duty during this time of crisis. It should also be noted that during the last five decades Rhino has constantly contributed in similar crisis situations in the country.
Director Jude Fernando, Group Chief Financial Officer Indika Rajapakse, senior management and the staff of Rhino Roofing Products Ltd. as well as officials from the Police, PHI Office and District Secretariat Office at Ja-Ela participated the event.
