Access Engineering PLC (AEL), the foremost civil engineering enterprise in Sri Lanka, embraced the New Year by planting 7,500 trees in Iranamadu by means of contributing towards a sustainable tomorrow.
Central Equipment Division (CED) of Project Management Division II of AEL worked in collaboration with the ‘Thuru Mithuru Nawa Ratak’ program which was initiated by the Sri Lankan Army. The Commander Security Force Headquarters in Kilinochchi spearheaded the tree planting program together with AEL on 1 January at the Iranamadu reservoir in celebration of the 27th anniversary of eighth Medium Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery.
The motive of the program was to enhance the forestry of Sri Lanka towards preservation of natural environment Eco system.
As an initiation of the annual tree planting program for 2021, AEL is intending to trade-off the carbon footprint taking place due to the business operations through engaging in more continuous eco-friendly measures while leveraging the innovative cutting-edge technologies in creating a sustainable tomorrow.
