Giving back to the society that drives their enterprise, Fashion Bug recently renovated Ward No. 25 at the District Hospital, Matara in commemoration of the fashion retail giant’s 25th anniversary. The project was carried out following a request by the hospital’s administration. The staff of Fashion Bug joined hands to renovate and paint the ward, and donate essential items such as mattresses, pillows, wheelchairs, cupboards and trolleys.
“Matara is a key location for Fashion Bug as we have one of our biggest outlets in the city. The brand has a very loyal clientele from all walks of life. The District Hospital in Matara is an institute that provides services for the general public regardless of any difference, who are also our customers. It is important that we get together with Government institutions to provide better living standards for these very people,” commented Fashion Bug CEO Shabier Subian.
Marking 25 years in the industry this year, Fashion Bug is on a journey to aid the betterment of basic facilities for the general public by renovating the 25th ward of several selected hospitals in the island.
