A subsidiary of Sri Lankan owned Zee Engineering, Zee Lanka which has been serving the offshore and gas industry since 1987 based in Malaysia, together with the Malaysian-based leader in renewable energy and energy optimisation Ihandal Energy Solutions, will be launching ‘Enerzee’ on 20 March 2013, at the Atrium Cinnamon Grand Colombo.
The Chief Guest of the occasion Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa, along with Minister of Health Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Petroleum Industries Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, Minister of Power and Energy Pavithra Wanniarachchi, Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy Susil Premajayantha, Minister of Human Resources Dew Gunasekara and Minister of Investment Promotion Lakshman Yapa Abeywardane, will grace the occasion along with Chairmen, CEOs and Engineers in the Hotel, Hospital and Apparel industries.
In assisting Sri Lanka to save energy resulting in lowering expenses in electricity, Enerzee, a new and ingenious technology, promises reduction to organisations energy consumption by up to 20% while having no risk of capital installation costs.
It provides maximum energy and operation savings in areas such as water heating and air-conditioning, the two largest energy consumers in a building.
The launch will accompany a presentation on ‘energy savings’ by Ihandal Energy Solutions Director Aaron Patel who will provide excellent insights to organisational decision makers on how they could optimise their energy without a heavy outlay in capital investment.

Today, Ihandal Energy Solutions has established a stronghold in the Malaysian market offering hot water energy solutions for the domestic as well as the commercial and industrial market.
A recent feat is to be the first heating system in Malaysia to be awarded ‘Pioneer Status’ for energy efficiency and innovation by the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority. Clients enjoy a 100% income tax rebate for the entire capital cost.From small residential developments to 1,000 room living quarters already using Ihandal’s Solutions, its Director Aaron Patel said: “It’s such a delightful opportunity for us to be working together with Zee Lanka.
