Johnson Controls Singapore, and their local partner in Sri Lanka, Metropolitan Air-conditioning and Refrigeration (Pvt) Ltd are for the first time introducing a YORK Chiller Health Check Programme for its clients in Sri Lanka, catering to the large chiller installations to inspect and advise on the operational performance of the equipment for optimal energy efficiency.
A team of YORK experts are due in Sri Lanka on 25th January 2011 and will visit many key YORK Chiller installations to check and ascertain its working conditions and performance. Based on their inspections and tests they will provide a detailed report to the client advising them of any improvements that may be required to ensure York chillers are working at their best.
In view of the recent electricity tariff increase, this timely health check will help consumers optimise energy efficiency. In general, approximately 60-70% of electricity cost is towards air-conditioning where central air-conditioning is provided in buildings.
This being the first such exercise being conducted by Metropolitan and Johnson Controls, initially preference will be given to selected large installations in Colombo, and suburbs. This event will become an annual event extending to all YORK chiller installations in the future. For more information, owners and maintenance engineers of YORK installation in Sri Lanka may contact Mr. Ajantha Upali, Maintenance and Service Engineer, Metropolitan Air-conditioning and Refrigeration (Pvt) Ltd on 4539772 during office hours or on Mobile – 0712798817.
