YKG Associates presents first CEO Communication Forum in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka’s CEO Communication pioneer YKG Associates (YKG) has announced the country’s first forum on CEO Communication – how leaders can better engage stakeholders for the long-term success of their organisations. 

CEOs from diverse industries – including apparel, automobile, banking, finance, hospitality, ICT, insurance, manufacturing, office automation, real estate, and retail – have confirmed their attendance at the forum, which will be held on Wednesday 27 May from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Ivy Room, Cinnamon Grand, Colombo. 

Trainer, CEO Speech Coach, Inspirational Speaker, and President of Dr. Dilip, LLC, Dr. Dilip R. Abayasekara will make a presentation on ‘Keys to Effective CEO Communication’. Dilip is a former World President of Toastmasters International, USA and Strategic Advisor to the President of Central Penn College, USA.

Speaking of the ground breaking event in the history of corporate Sri Lanka, YKG Managing Director Yukthi K. Gunasekera observed: “I am proud to introduce CEO Communication to Sri Lanka. Trainers and coaches have been doing CEO communication in bits and pieces for a long time; now we need to do this as a discipline – systematically and professionally. I am committed to broad-base effective CEO communication so that YKG and I can contribute, perhaps in a very small way, to make Sri Lanka a world class business hub in the Indian Ocean Rim. At the event, we will also be launching an online CEO communication resource for leaders and aspiring leaders worldwide: a dedicated website on CEO communication.”

The sole speaker at the event, Dr. Abayasekara commented: “I wish to support Yukthi in his pioneering and untiring efforts to serve Sri Lanka’s business community. At the same time, I am making this an opportunity to salute Sri Lanka’s business leaders who have been silent contributors to the country’s growth, prosperity, and wellbeing.”

Dr. Abayasekara has trained and inspired thousands of people in many different industries in almost every State in the USA and in nine other countries since he launched his training, speech coaching and professional speaking business in 1994. 

The focus of his company, Dr. Dilip, LLC, is to enable individuals and organisations unleash their communication and performance potential.
