Workshop on improving customer service

Customer Service is extremely important for any organisation. The customer is the one who ensures that an organisation is alive. We even say that “customer is the king”. However, in reality we find out that many organisations and staff are not providing an acceptable level of customer service.  

The customer service workshop program launched by Lanka BPO Academy is to tackle this issue. It is a topic of growing importance in Sri Lanka.



The Lanka BPO Academy (www.lankabpoacademy.lk) is a dedicated entity to develop human capital in Sri Lanka. It has collaborated with many international and local partners to deliver various global standard training programs to enhance skills level of organisations.

Commenting on the new initiative, Lanka BPO Academy CEO Yasas V. Abeywickrama, said that it was exciting to offer such an important training program. He also said that “we hope to utilise our collective experience as well as collaborations to offer value to Sri Lankan corporates and thereby help them to move to the next stage in their businesses and careers, in this case with superior customer service”
