Three hundred policyholders of Ceylinco Life and their family members began 2014 on a winning note when the life insurance leader conducted the ‘super draw’ of its ‘Family Savari 7’ promotion last week. Among them were five policyholder families from Kalutara, Hatton, Colombo, Ganemulla and Trincomalee, who have won the ultimate in rewards – a dream holiday in Japan with all expenses paid. The Family Savari 7 super draw also identified 10 policyholder families that will tour China, 35 families that will holiday in Singapore and 250 families that will spend a day at the Leisure World theme park. These winning families making up 1,200 people will be joined by another 1,060 members of 265 Ceylinco Life policyholder families drawn in November 2013 to receive a holiday in Singapore and an outing at Leisure World. The overseas tours and the local excursion are scheduled to take place in March, April and May 2014. “As always, the emphasis is on rewarding the entire family and providing families the opportunity to travel together and enjoy memorable times as a unit,” Ceylinco Life’s Managing Director/CEO R Renganathan said. “The Family Savari promotion is an articulation of Ceylinco Life’s promise of ‘Life, Love, Protection’ to the company’s policyholders and their loved ones.” Launched in 2007, the Family Savari program is intended to increase awareness and purchase of life insurance and retirement plans, encourage keeping policies active, and reward policyholders for their loyalty and trust. The promotion period for the seventh edition of the Family Savari programme ran from September to December 2013, during which all active long term Ceylinco Life policyholders as well as holders of Ceylinco Life Retirement Accounts (CRAs) earned multiple winning chances that increased with the age of their policies. Existing or new policyholders who paid a monthly premium of Rs. 20,000 and above and had paid premiums up to 31 December 2013 or those who had a balance of Rs. 1.5 million in their CRAs with a Life Plan by that date were eligible to win a holiday in Japan. To be eligible to win a holiday to China, policyholders were required to have a monthly premium of Rs. 10,000 and pay their premiums up to 31 December 2013 or have CRAs and Life Plans with a balance of Rs. 1 million. Existing policyholders and new policyholders who purchased life insurance before 31 December 2013 with a minimum monthly premium of Rs. 3,500 and paid premiums up to 31 December 2013 and CRA accountholders with a minimum balance of Rs. 750,000 had a chance to participate in the Singapore tour, while policyholders who paid a monthly premium of Rs. 1,000 or CRA account holders with a minimum balance of Rs. 250,000 were eligible to win visits to Leisure World. Emphasising on the value of loyalty, policyholders received one additional winning chance for every year they had been with Ceylinco Life, up to a maximum of 10 winning chances for those who had been active policyholders for a decade or more. Additionally, policyholders who paid a minimum of three premiums using direct payment methods (such as bank standing orders) received an additional winning chance.
